This past quarter marked another engaging event for Highstreet employees to enjoy. With the option to participate in either Virtual Family Feud or Virtual Jeopardy, the Highstreet team got to pick their favorite gameshow and find themselves the star of it. With each team memberโs food & beverage of choice covered by Highstreet, the fun and the competition started.
During Family Feud, there were four teams who competed head-to-head. With ending scores of 500, 463, 387, and 192 it was a close game with team 4 coming out on top. Congratulations to the winners: Ben, Curtis, Christine, Sajini, David and Meg!
Jeopardy started out with participants choosing their competition nick-name, leading to some good-humored confusion around who was who. Despite the fact that one of Highstreetโs technical experts tried out for the real Jeopardy, the champion of Highstreet Jeopardy was Robb โRockstarโ Penoyer.
โOne of several areas Highstreet excels in is team building, which provides a sense of belonging to something larger. How does a consulting company with employees spread over most states accomplish this, not to mention restrictions during COVID? Well, every quarter, Highstreet hosts employee get-togethers. While itโs held via a conference meeting, it is effective. The last quarter had a virtual Jeopardy game night and a Family Feud game night. Jokes, laughter, and fabulous prizes ruled the night. The best prize was spending time together where talking about work was considered a four-letter word.โ
